I enjoy playing at Absolute Poker and frequently play their real money prize
freerolls. The freerolls are scheduled every two hours and you don’t have to have
a real money account to sign up but can actually win real money. Top 63 players
win real money and the top 5 also advance to the Sunday's $1,000 AP Challenge.
These tournaments fill up fast and usually have over 2,500 players sign up. I
have played in tournaments with as many as 5,400 players. The tournaments
allow rebuys for .50 cents before the first break and add-ons during the break.
The prize pool is not much, usually about $100, but is a great way to win money
to try out and play in real money games before actually making a deposit.

Here are some highlights of a freeroll tournament I played recently. After several
hours of play, a little skill and a whole lot of luck I won a little over $18 and
